We are talking about tikkun. We said at the beginning that even shem Mah also needs tikkun. Not to the same extent as she Ban. No matter how great something is, it has to be reflective of essence. And essence has both Mah and Ban. So the tikkun is the inter-inclusion of one within the other.

From sechel into middot there is a 'download' of mehus to mehus – truth to truth – depth to depth... even though they are so far apart and seem to have different 'operating systems'...

We know that a person has a soul. The soul itself is not fully en-clothed in the body of a man. It is impossible for it to be fully encompassed by a body. A ha-arah/reflection of the soul is vested in the body. There are 4 levels of this investment. 1. will and pleasure. 2. sechel – mind 3. emotions and lastly 4. thought speech and action.

So sechel/mind and middot/emotions are very different, but they have the similarity of both having a worldly quality. Worldly means, “not inherently true, but rather, 'coming into being'”. Sechel/mind always has the element of discovery. This means it is a process. And this is the definition of world – 'past, present and future'. So because they work with 'worldly definitions', sechel/mind and middot/emotions have a commonality.

Sechel/mind gets involved with the middot/emotions.
