We concluded the discussion of the way chochmah is a necessary intermediary to bring the oneg/delight into all the functioning faculties.

Chochmah is capable of relating to the essence of the nefesh/soul and of 'bringing it down' into consciousness.

Now we are introduced to a new level.

As it is true of the natural soul, so it is true of the Godly delight in the Godly soul. The soul participates and delights in the 4 senses... sight, hearing, taste, and smell in the service of God...

This is in contrast to a natural process, which is based on the principle of 'cause and effect'.

The opposite would be an expression of inherent truth without an outside stimulus.
