We are saying souls are a real presence and not 'nullified before God'. What is the meaning? The soul is aware of what it is. From this awareness all else flows.

Anything with a functional presence is defined by its function... the soul by contrast identifies itself from an internal perspective. How could that be on a level where there is only God? The soul is very real and is a representative of this initial existence of God.

The souls came into being, not by means of a functional definition. They did not come to fill a gap. The soul is rooted in the essence of Godliness. By Him knowing Himself, he knows the souls. And thus the souls are real...

This is why a Yid is the reality of the world. He holds up the world.

The souls are able to accept revelations of the inner essential lights, and not be nullified by them...

Everything lives from God's awareness. He is not shared. Each one has His full attention.

Think of a king. His presence is not functional. All the people in the nation and the king are one entity. They exist because of the king. In one instance they all get the presence of the king – all at the same time...

We don't appreciate who we are. We measure ourselves with an 'accomplishment' yardstick. This is the basis of our pains and troubles. We have an inner reality.

Why do we go back to the awareness? Because awareness is where the king is.
