We said that the essential form is applicable not only to the essence itself, but also to the essential light...

The essential light is not something produced on a functional level – 'it is there because the essence is there'. The light is representative of the essential nature of the essence, not any functional role it may play.

The human being affects his surroundings. The primary element is the presence. A human being, by definition, has a home.

Our activities seem to focused on the external. We are told, 'stand this way for the silent prayer', and this is seen in all aspects of Torah and Mitzvot. This is because each mitzvah is a statement of, 'I am in a Godly domain', and thus the emphasis is not on what I know. It is representative of essence, not of significance (understanding).

Essential light is beyond space – all is one. On a lower level you see a likeness – demus.
