We
are being shown a principle.
A
faculty from the soul level is imbued into a body so that the body
absorbs it and the soul faculty functions at the level of the body,
while retaining a soul quality.
What
facilitates this correlation and descent of the soul faculty?
This
is due to the fact that in its origin state where it is exclusively a
soul faculty, where there is no precariousness, it is a
particular faculty.
The
soul knows itself not by its own identity and experience, but by what
the chochmah tells it. This is the concealed chochmah.
Chochmah
is 'what am I from His perspective' and this can come down and be
revealed at the moach/brain level.
In
the soul where there is no darkness it is also called chochmah,
because it is knowledge from above it. The soul says, 'it is not
from me, it is from Him Himself'.
