We are looking at 3 levels in light.

Light represents the presence of the essence. 3 levels means 3 levels of that representation...

This emanation of light is what facilitates the creation.

When the light is unified with its source it is called yachid. A unitary state, but referring to light, not the essence.

Adam and Eve were told they could eat from the fruits of the Garden of Eden – fruits that would activate their faculties. The tree of daas they were not to touch. Knowledge on that level gives you an independence of Him – isolation.
