A Godly creation does not have a beginning point.

Ownership cannot be defined on a worldly basis.  This means it has ‘no beginning’ - it is not based on worldly circumstance.  

Essence means the world is ‘not self defining’. 

Essence defies definition.

And the world represents something of a revelation of essence.  In the world are found phenomena, like the conservation of matter and energy, that point to essence.

On the Godly level essence can be created.  

Essence is present in the world, but it is not a worldly presence.

A starting point indicates a catalyst, and there is no trigger for essence.  Essence is beyond definition or cause.

There is no way to define what essence seeks to accomplish.  It is eternal - it has no end. 

Its existence is not defined by the fact that it exists. 

From a worldly perspective it cannot be explained or described.

Essence is both internal and universal.

All else is functional.  Essence is the reality itself. 

To have a sense of it, think of the center of balance - the center of gravity - this is a metaphor. 

It is one point, but it is everything in terms of its effect. 

There cannot be true love for life without love of God.  

And beyond this is the level of one reality [kol me’odecha].  The entire world and all aspects is Him.  

Not to say ‘everything is nullified’ but rather ‘there are important things, but they all revolve around the one pivot - the one center of gravity’!

Will is a surrounding faculty.  Seemingly it can become more enlivened.  This is due to the one/delight in the mind.

Will and delight are both surrounding faculties, representative of the soul, but in 2 different ways.

Delight/oneg is internal.  Ratzon/will is external and has effect on the world…

There relationship between mind/sechel and ratzon differs from that between mind/sechel and one/delight.

Oneg/delight is the basis of the mind/sechel.

The main difference between עונג and רצון.

רצון
is a force that drives prods one to do the will of the creator. Forcing him to go out of himself, connecting to the unlimited powers of above. עונג is a sense of knowing, feeling that this act which was done this intelectual idea that he has is correct because It is correct in the way creator wanted it to be. Giving him a great sense of satisfaction. A feeling of comfort of being one with the creator a connection between the person and its source.
Essentially רצון expresses a drive, עונג expresses a satisfaction. חכמה is sourced in עונג because it is עונג that senses the feeling of the truth חכמה -  intelect has no feeling it is עונג ,that gives one the feeling of truth, a sense of unity with the will of his creator. Giving the person a feeling of understanding that he reached the want of hashem. Ultimately, the feeling of being one with Hashem gives him the feeling that the intelect is correct.

עונג is the נשמה of חכמה

Oneg/pleasure and ratzon/will are part of the soul itself.  

The will is in constant fulfillment… what is it running to do?  It goes to do it’s mission.  It does this not based on any lack. 

There is a divine reality.  And there is nothing more abundant than this.  The will has this divine element and runs to do.

Who compels God to create the world?  No-one.  He made a real world and not due to any lack.  Or any push factor.  

If something is done out of duress, it is limited.  God what not ‘pushed’ into making the world, and thus it is a full creation.  

Ratzon/will is a divine gift.  It is a drive to accomplish without any particular need.

The will directs the limbs to move and then they move on their own.

The will is needed even though the limb can ‘move on its own’.  

Your ability to relate to a place beyond your own location is a divine gift.

Only the ratzon/will can initiate movement - force the limb to move.

For the limb to move out of its place, the will is necessary.  The limb only knows its own place.

Ratzon/will is what initiates movement of the body and limbs.

Why is the hand’s own ability to move sufficient?  Why does it not move by itself?

This is because it is limited.  By contrast, the will/ratzon knows of the full reality.  All places are real to it.  It perceives the entire reality that God created.  

A human being senses he is part of a huge reality. 

The will says, ‘I am where I want to be.’

We are everywhere.  We can live anywhere.  

God made ‘heaven and earth’.  Heaven is mentioned first.  The heaven facilitates the entire earth.
