The ein sof / infinite element of the light indicates that it is clearly and emanation from the essence.
While there is the presence of the sun itself, the light of the sun cannot be identified.
“Day” is a super-worldly presence. God wanted that the world not be totally devoid of an allusion to Him...! So it is still world, with a super-worldly presence...
