Man
senses distance due to his sense of the bigger reality. The
Creator's reality in which he finds himself.
This
is why chassidus talks of ohr/light so ubiquitously – ohr of
sechel/mind etc...
Think
into what that means. Don't ask me. Think into this.
This
morning after class we discussed the material. We brought out a
simple point. The bed is made for resting. And it makes a
categorical difference if the bed is in your home, a hotel room, or
in the street...
We
can all sense the difference. And the significance of that
difference.
This
opens the mind to a new domain.
We
are aiming for a clarity – we have 10 sphirot within the infinite
light (ohr ein sof). Their setting within the infinite light is
significant.
The
mind of the master is so remote from that of his student that in
order for him to relate to the student he must first conceal the
light of his own consciousness.
There
is no light of mind in contemporary intellectual circles that cleave
to an evolutionary approach.
