The effect of the tzimtzum is that each sphirah is now identified separately. Before the tzimtzum each did not have a unique identity – each did not speak in terms of itself – only its attribute in terms of the infinity. Now after the tzimtzum each sphirah is drawn down in its own form.

This describes the reduction and the concealment of the light.

Light becomes a specific entity – it no longer comes automatically.

The 'source light' is hidden.

We looked at the word 'baruch/bless'. The word hold a concept. It reveals a soul quality. When we separate one letter from the word, it retains the light, but from a much reduced level.
