We are revisiting the hishavut ha yesh from malchus.

The union of chochmah and binah is like Him making the worlds within Himself.

This is like the primary thought... it was not preceded by anything... it is a thought that was not preceded by 'non-thought'.

The soul is essential. Something essential cannot be described in the parameters of time and space. 'Coming into being' involves place and time...

We have been seeing how for there to be the creation of worlds there had to be the union between ein and yesh.

The creation of the world is based on the union of chochmah/insight and binah/understanding.

This is the same as the union of ein/nothing with yesh/something. The something has no real presence till it is provided by the 'nothing'/ein.

The faculties that we have (walking, talking, thinking etc), have no real significance unto themselves whatsoever. Their significance is what they draw from above that makes them real. There is a spirit that makes them real. The spirit is the nothing/ein that makes them real.

If a person is bored, can't he walk around or throw pebbles into water? But that has no significance. Without the spirit, the something is not real. When the spirit informs the activity then it is very satisfying...

The creation has to continually remember that it is coming from the truth of ein/nothing. If we become oblivious to what we are doing, and just focused on the action, this is hiding...

“I worked with a doctor who graduated high in his class, but had no sense of what he was doing.” If you don't appreciate what you are doing it is useless.

Inside the text: the creation in an active state is from malchus of the world of atzilus. Yes, there is chochmah and binah, and we will see the difference between binah and malchus...

Malchus (the lowest sphirah) is the nothing, that is the source for the something...

The principle of 'coming into being' (his-havut), is where you start to see 'things', and it is based on action, rather than just being there, by virtue of being connected to its source. And action takes place outside... externally... and where is an external place if you are talking of Godliness?

Think of language. It goes all the way down to the level of letters. And letters are presence without meaning. And that's what creation is... you get out of bed by action, not by thinking about it...

There is creation on an external level, yet it retains its connection to what is above it.

Any normal human action (not driven by fear and self preservation) is based on the inner knowledge/chochmah, that, 'there is a King in the world'.

We live in the King's domain, not in a jungle or an empty vacuum.

'Everything comes from you' is totally wrong. Nothing comes from you. It comes from Him. Through you.

You are not driven by fog (f.o.g – fear, obligation, guilt). You have a soul. You are not compelled. You have a soul that is expressing itself. Kabalat ol / accepting the King is the source of life. Full life. Accepting Him is the height of intelligence.

“Constant Union” p:45

AyinBase / Ayin Beis with R' Paltiel Friday 3 Tevet 5774

We are looking at how creation; comes from Godliness into world...

Chochmah/insight and binah/understanding have a continual union, that is for the sake of making the world.

Even though binah focusses on the content and structure, yet it is constantly recognizing that this structure is representative of chochmah/insight. Think of a table, it has a structure, yet it is representative of the human spirit.

You have to recall that your world is beyond a table standing on the floor. You are held up by Him. The world does not depend on itself. It is suspended in space. It hangs on nothing. It is held in his Hand.

Chochmah/insight and binah/understanding have a continual union, and this is the union between something and nothing. Creations come to be something from nothing. So the reality is the ein/nothing.

Because this nothingness is constant, it is possible to be distracted and only see the things/yesh of the world...

There are 2 ways to see things. An idiotic way and a Godly way. Does the tree look for ways to survive to produce fruit, or is that whole spirit provided for it from a higher source? Binah is not so smart that it makes everything! It is in constant union with chochmah/wisdom that is the initiator...

Things do not create themselves! To say so is to take the spirit out of the world. If you just take ein/nothing for your own use then you lose it. Till 'things' become the only orientation.

“He renews with His kindness, the world continually...” - from nothing to something. And not for the sake of being a separate 'thing'.

“You Make My Questions Disappear” p:45

AyinBase / Ayin Beis with R' Paltiel ThursdayNight 2 Tevet 5774

Page 45 מה

At about a quarter from the end of the page – (line begins: "lephi...”) For text, click: Here.

There is a source for existence. There is a point that initiates the chochmah/insight. This is of enormous significance. It is life giving.

We have discussed the table on the floor, supported by the beams, supported by the walls, supported by the foundation, supported by the earth, and the earth is supported by... nothing... it is supported by the Godly will, the Godly presence.

The fact that there are beams and walls etc, does not deminish at all the Godly miracle. They just allow as to feel comfortable, and 'know' how things fit together.

But the Godly will is infinitely more solid than the ground itself. It is recognized by the insight/chochmah of the soul. And all we experience in the physical world serves as a trigger to awaken our insight.

It gives reality to the human being, and to the whole world.

THERE ARE ONLY TWO WAYS TO LIVE YOUR LIFE. ONE IS AS THOUGH NOTHING IS A MIRACLE.

There are only two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle.
The other is as though everything is a miracle. ~ Albert Einstein

Chochmah is one spark. But it contains infinite information. This is like one glance that contains a vast vista in one instant... Unlike hearing, which is sequential, sight is effortless. You are shown things from a higher, truth perspective...

God made the world, and did not let you float alone. Just as He holds up the whole world in nothingness, so too He holds you up...

Nothing gives a presence to itself. There is a First Being, that continually brings things into existence. Physical life is via breathing. He breathes into you... we allow the air to be pressed into our nostrils... we don't actively pursue life – that's not life. Live is given to us.

Bina is lower than chochmah/insight. For chochmah there are no questions. It just sees. Bina works with structure and explanation. Chochmah does not ask how the earth is suspended. When we says it is suspended by His design, it brings it back home...!

And the joining of chochmah/delight and bina/understanding is continuous... and this maintains the world.
