Know there is a First Being.It is an imperative.Why?It is not just an element of divine service.It is the basis of wisdom [chochmah].
Existence per se makes no sense.Existence makes sense to the mind [sechel] only if there is Something that brought it into existence.So the definition of an existence is, ‘this is being presented to us’.Knowledge in a vacuum is not knowledge.
We know a thing via the One who alerts us to its being.

In the level of internal light there are differences of level and definition.
Everything needs an overall environment.The surrounding light [ohr makif] provides this.Sechel/mind too requires an environment.
This level hovers above and is not affected.
This level is also know as the crown [kesser].
The crown of the world of action [kesser d’asiya]:even action has a crown.The simple planning of the layout of the furnishings of a home are still on the conceptual level, then there is the moment of introducing the actual physical furniture into the room.
The moment of action has its own crown.
The completion of a project, the moment of completing the purpose of a home, or Moses’ final act of building the sanctuary [mishkan] makes the crown.This is the crown of the level of action.

In the infinite light there was already the projection of a recognizable limited reality… this is called ‘making it happen’.
Your sight is like a spiritual element on a physical level.It is instantaneous and perceives reality - things are seen in their place.
In the infinity there was a projection, and a desire to make things happen in a place where they don’t happen automatically - the opportunity to go towards what you have sighted.
Your perspective can change.The sense of ‘what kind of world do i live in’ can change.The sense of ‘what is my duty’ can change.
This is getting the work done - liföl.
The fact that a man lives in a home is part of the divine plan - it is of the utmost importance - it is the revelation of Godliness at the worldly level.
God identifies himself with the world- and asks us to buile a home for Him - a temple and your home.
Life is a Godly spirit.This is a physical world created by God.Representing its Creator.

The infinite light is beyond the level of grasp or enclothement.He surrounds and embraces all the worlds and all their development in full equality.
In life people may confuse the guiding light with the by-product.
The surrounding light does not divide into different levels.
The inner light is mediated and recognized in a multitude of different levels.It remains light but relates to all the circumstances, and the question of “how do i get there?”

How is a higher sense presented on a lower level?How does a master address his student?
When you speak to a child, you tell him, ‘this thing is not yours, it belongs to him.’
And at that moment it just means, ‘I cannot touch it since he will not let me’, yet in the long run, he asks himself, ‘what is the meaning of ‘it belongs to him?!’’
And thus he gets to know there is a principle beyond what he can discern.
The child realizes, there is a presence imbuing a truth principle into the world.There is a divine principle that identifies right and wrong.
There is a surrounding light that gives presence to everything, yet, it, itself remains obscure.
How does it remain obscure.Imagine you are a guest.And you say, ‘food looks good. I’ll take it home to enjoy later’.In that way the guest negates the relationship.

At the time of the Temple in Jerusalem all could see revealed miracles even though they could not understand what they were seeing…
There was a personal relationship to Godliness.And people would see the miracles from that perspective. The primary orientation was not worldliness, but Godliness.
All sechel/mind is divine.Animals also see the world, yet a true sense of reality is lacking for them.Birds build nests, without knowing what they are doing.

Sight comes to you directly.But there is the identification of what is seen.
You can relate to what you see, although you are seeing sights that are qualitatively different from you. That you can relate to it is call - an inner union [yichud pnimi].

Students, by means of their relationship to their teacher, access their own souls and are transformed.The ‘additional light’ is the relationship - the relationship element - so too with God and Israel - at propitious moments He strengthen the relationship with His people.
