At the time of the Temple in Jerusalem all could see revealed miracles even though they could not understand what they were seeing…
There was a personal relationship to Godliness.  And people would see the miracles from that perspective. The primary orientation was not worldliness, but Godliness.
All sechel/mind is divine.  Animals also see the world, yet a true sense of reality is lacking for them.  Birds build nests, without knowing what they are doing.
