How is a higher sense presented on a lower level?  How does a master address his student?

When you speak to a child, you tell him, ‘this thing is not yours, it belongs to him.’

And at that moment it just means, ‘I cannot touch it since he will not let me’, yet in the long run, he asks himself, ‘what is the meaning of ‘it belongs to him?!’’

And thus he gets to know there is a principle beyond what he can discern.

The child realizes, there is a presence imbuing a truth principle into the world.  There is a divine principle that identifies right and wrong.

There is a surrounding light that gives presence to everything, yet, it, itself remains obscure.

How does it remain obscure.  Imagine you are a guest.  And you say, ‘food looks good. I’ll take it home to enjoy later’.  In that way the guest negates the relationship.

God makes the world.  Yet all still belongs to Him.  And if you become oblivious to Him, you become oblivious to your life, to life itself.
