Makif is the source for the pnimi. It provides support for the pnimi and the pnimi reveals the content of the makif.

Ha-arah is a reflection and it is the means by which the light affects that which is foreign to it.

This light does not just tell you about itself, it tells you about its source. For this reason it does not dissipate when shining intot he darkness of the world.

The scientific world does not make a distinction between touch and sight. Both are stimuli from the outside that are sensed by the organs.

We say, 'no, sight is a totally different experience from touch. It reveals to us an essence, and we are not simply seeing the object because it is illuminated. Sight reveals to you the reality and says, 'this thing is real''.

Sechel/mind is able to understand on an essential level and search for the truth. Sechel is like sight – to perceive not on a functional level, but on an essential level. Sechel goes for the 'truth that is true because it is true...' and this can becomes his primary reality.
