In wisdom there is the light and the vessel.
The
light becomes enclothed in the vessel. It comes to the context of
the vessel, nevertheless in essence it is at a incomparably higher
level than the vessel.
There's
a home and there's a house. They are different. The house is the
external shell of the home. You need a house for a home, but a house
does not represent a home. A home is filled with the significance of
the human being.
This
home element is like the light of the sechel/mind. Only the human
being appreciates it. The sechel gives meaning to the home. And
that level is completely different from the level of 'house'.
The
home has an element of pshitus/simplicity – it encompasses and
expresses his reality and not just a defined function.
The
light retains the element of pshitus even when it is in a vessel.
How
can that which is essentially above, get dressed into a vessel and
remain essentially different?! This is why we say a drunk in the
gutter retains his human essence.
