The
expressed level has no way to grasp the level above it. The
revealed level is told, 'be silent!' since there is a level above
that is above reason.
There's
a right way of doing things. This is indicative of sechel/mind.
From a lower level the means serve the end.
So
there are different levels of chochmah.
The
revealed level is the mind as it is in the brain.
What
is the root of chochmah/wisdom. Think of the drunk in the gutter.
He's not aware of the depth to which he has fallen and he says,
'leave me alone. I'm satisfied here.' Even though inherently as a
human being he does not belong there. This is like the hidden root.
A
human being is inherently human. He cannot lose his primary human
quality.
His
identity is rooted in 'what he is', and not in his functional
understanding.
It
is based on the level of shoresh umakor (root and source).
Life
is constant. And perfect. And smooth. It is given from the Source
of life. And it is due to this that we have a mind/sechel that also
identifies things from a perfect perspective... it is the basis of
'let's do things right!' and 'let's not be haphazard about stuff!'
Even though life is not chochmah.
