The Rebbe explains that the sphirot as they are contained in their source have qualities of the infinity...

And should the revelation come directly then the world would not come to be, since the world cannot process such revelations. This is true also regarding the faculties of the soul/nefesh.

What is accomplished by the light coming into vessels – becoming internalized.


A vessel literally belongs to the world and knows nothing, but the world. The cup does not know that it was not created for a purpose.


If the light is formulated to fit the vessel, then you have light in the world. Really in the world.

The intent of the creator is that there should be an internalization of the light. This is where the lights are very clearly defined and become represented in vessels...
