Name of a person is so connected with him that he responds to his name even if he is in a faint.

There's the conscious level and then there's the soul connection. Parents name their kids by means of 'small prophesy'.

The name is not the sechel/mind of a person – it not his neshama/soul. Sechel is the level of neshamah/soul.

What's the meaning of sechel is the level of neshamah/soul? The human soul has the phenomenon of purpose. The man identifies with a task. Sechel perceives the truth of life – the answer to 'what does it mean that I am here?'

Light comes from the soul level of the human being. This is his vitality and purpose. Name is of deep importance, but it is not at the level of sechel, which is the level of soul/neshamah.

Here sechel does not mean superficial 'smarts'.

Before the soul comes into a body it has no need for a name. It does not identify the soul itself.

Name is that element, which binds a soul with its body.

The soul is life itself. When it comes down into the body it comes with an assignment – the body becomes active – it has what it is doing – a purpose mission.

And the focus in not 'making a living'. Each life has a story and a purpose beyond getting by or making a fortune. The soul did not come to the body to sustain the body, but rather to accomplish with it something that could not have been accomplished otherwise.
