We are looking at the effect of tzimtzum/contraction on lights/ohrot.

The 10 hidden sphirot as they are above would not be appropriate for the level of world.

Name is of great significance and relates closedly to the essence, yet it is not the soul itself.

Only when the soul came into a body did it require a name.

The name is what gives a man or a baby an identity in the world.

Now if the name was 'added' on to the soul, why does it call a man out from a faint?

The soul came into the world with a Godly mission. The name is what enables it to begin to function and act in accordance with its mission. Without this is is just, 'unto itself'.

Why does the soul need a name in order to function in the world? It enables the Godly element to be somewhat concealed and have a worldly reference.

The name joins the light to the vessel.
