We
are looking at lights/ohrot. And here too there are different levels
and inner and external (pnimi and chitzoni) elements.
Yet
they are all light.
Light
is the impact of the presence of the essence.
The
impact of the presence. It is presence itself, not function
or action. What presence make an impact? Things that are real. For
example a human being.
Think
of the world absent the human being. It would have no significance.
It would not be worthy of its Creator. With man comes an import of
reality, making the world worthy of having been created.
What

along, wherever he goes. He relates to himself not as a physical
creation in the world but to the fact that, 'He made me'.
This
is the level of lights/ohrot at the level of source, not regarding
impact outside. At this source level to distinguish between inner
and external is virtually impossible.
And
tzimtzum separates the inner and external levels.
The
name corresponds to the light of the essence. There are different
names for God.
The
names are like 'garments to the lights'.
The
light per se cannot be dressed into the vessel, but when the light is
within a name it can be placed in the vessel.
It
is said, “His name, is his life” - i.e. the name refers to the
overall vitality of the baby or person...
