We
have been looking at the uniqueness of wisdom/chochmah. It cleaves
to its source and is nothing without it. The source is 'the real
thing' – essence, though the most elusive, is the most real.
Atzmus/essence, does not make itself known, nor touch anything. You
know it due to its truth. Thus it is the most true. Chochmah sees
this.
Chochmah
is affected exclusively by emes/truth. Thus it has the element of
devekut/cleaving.
This
is what we say in davening, 'there is none in proximity to You in
this world, and there is none but You in the world to come...' In
this world it is not sensed how there is 'none but You'. In this
world though it is sensed that, 'there is none that compares to You'.
In
this world you can know the truth. But you know it as a separate
entity and thus one can say, 'there is none like You', but the 'there
is none, but You' cannot be sensed.
The
'world to come' is the Garden of Eden, where there is the revelation
of the light of atzilus/essence.
