A blessing is a way to bring something down from the concealed world into the revealed world...

Thoughts are inner and not revealed... yet machshavah/thought is called a world. It is hard to know why they are a world...

In words we here a sound and you know there's a content to the sounds. But with thought you are initially unaware of the 'words' of your thoughts...

Pure sechel/mind, is what is dressed in thought.

Mind comes down to be known at the level of thought. And to do this it must be dressed in words... to make it known... without the letters and worlds, we could not know it...

These letters must not interfere with the concept. They are very fine. They do not announce themselves as a presence, so as not to cover over the content... this is why they cannot be sensed from the outside. They are bringing the source...

In the modern world the garment was substituted for the inner content.

Sechel/mind is not just to identify items, but to see the significance of thing. It is due to the truth of the nefesh/soul. It can only relate to that which should exist.

The soul of man is a Godly truth. It does not accept things that it 'happens upon', it sees there 'is a reason why something is here'...

A human being is not a 'living body'. If that was the case he would know only what the body tells him. Rather he is life in a body. Life is real. It is truth. And that is a completely different perspective.

So sechel, even while dressed in letters, remains a soul truth... a thought cannot be seen outside, a soul cannot be outside.

Real knowledge is not based on demonstration.

In thought you sense the truth of the soul, but it is a bright light of the soul that cannot be shared with another... Why can it not be shared? Soul is soul and cannot be given away...

The light of the soul in at reduced level is called a faculty. Light is not a presence of its own. It is always connected to the source.
