We
are discussing how it is that a reflection that comes from chochmah is superior to the essence that is from emotions. All to see why
souls, that are essential, long for kisses that are spiritual.
The
essence that comes from physical union – the souls – is from the
inner, essential reality. It extends everywhere.
And
yet it has different levels – different presentations, while it
itself remains unchanged at each level.
In
the time to come there will be a revelation of essence in our world,
yet the world will not be nullified! How can be think of this?
Think of a human being. He occupies the position of essence in the
world. You can say, 'the whole world is made for him'. All the
elements of the world have significance only due to the human being.
And he has a home. And each furnishing though it is at a lower level
contains the exact same spirit.
So
essence is seen at 2 levels. A the level of the home, and at the
level of the amenities of the home.
A
human being is a king in the world. And a king by definition has to
be 'in comfort'. This is his world. He is not a stranger here. And
if a small comfort is missing, he feels he is missing a human
quality. If he has to eat walking around he feels the lack. His
discomfort is 'cos he feels how it distracts from his truth.
Sechel/mind
that is based on a worldly orientation, goes for evidence and
demands, 'prove it! How do you know?'
The
inner mind/sechel sees truth directly, before any manifestation.
This is chochmah/wisdom/חכמה.
The Rambam says the basis for all knowledge is to know that there is
a First Being that brings all existence forth and makes it real.
What
justifies that I see the world? Because there is the First Being...!
The
essence truth does not need any proof and cannot be proven.
It
is only known to the soul, and cannot be taught to anything else.
And
when the essence comes to a lower level it presents itself as
mitzvoth that are carried out in the physical world.
