When the light decreases there are more keilim/vessels. An example/metaphor for this is the relationship between the master and student.
The master/rav is on a different level. He is on a higher level and receives from a higher source.
The student has no sense of this at all. The master cannot give the mind/sechel as he himself sees it… he can only present a small edge of the higher reality…
