The
Rebbe is explaining there are 3 levels in lights/ohrot.
One
the way it is in essence. Nothing is identified from within the
light. And this is the level of yachid.
And
this doesn't mean there isn't content. But the whole content is
representative of the essence.
The
second level is the level of one/echad. Here the content is more of
a presence.
A
metaphor for this is the coming forth of the faculty of movement that
is in the hand.
After
the hand has completed its task, the faculty of movement has gone
back to its source – it reverts back to a state of echad/oness.
The
faculty of the hand and soul are created by the Creator, thus it has
full ability, but not in an identified manner. It was created with
the capacity to do everything. The hand waits for the opportunity to
express itself.
All this is due to an intent from the beginning of creation, till it is exhibited by the movement of the hand.
