The garment allows the soul to interface with the body.

The garment is rooted in a very high source. It maintains its connection to its source. It is from the source of the soul. The garment is the tzelem/form.

This joins the soul to the body.

The soul and body are opposites. Entirely opposite. There is no commonality at all. The soul is spiritual to the extreme. It does not occupy space. And the body is coarse to the extreme. It has no commonality with spirituality at all. The creation of the human being is distinct from all other creations. The body and soul of an animal can relate to each other – they have a commonality.

An animal is energized when threatened or seeking food – it has life, but in a worldly setting...

The human being is energized by something on a sechel/mind or midot/emotional level.

The body and soul of a human being are distant from each other to the extreme.

Yet still there is a joining of the soul and the body.

This is different from 'water in a cup' where there is no real joining...

But the joining of the body and soul is real... the light of the soul translates as vitality/chayus and impacts the body... affecting natural life... until it appears natural that the body is alive.
