At end of top paragraph – (line begins: 'kadosh...') For text see below.

The Rebbe explains that when the clear light shines through colored glass, it gives colored light on a functional level, but it, itself remains pure.

Light is a transformation relative to the world. The world is essentially dark, and is known only through tangibility – it has presence, not life. Light is transformative. It is not worldly. This is pure. It is not a composite. And that is why it is able to illuminate. It is in a different category of reality.

This is the simple light. This means it can illuminate everything. Sunlight has this quality. And this remains, no matter the color of the filter. For the simple light to have an effect in the world, it has to first dress into a vessel...

In all elements of creation there is an aspect that is pure Godliness... Things don't have their own basis, they are based in Godliness.
