about midway into the page –
(line
begins: 'she-hare hu...') For text see below.
We are looking at the
illustration of the sunlight. The light shining through a colored
glass will appear colored – but that is just a functional effect.
You see the world,
but these are like the garments of the king. And the king himself is
within his garments.
The guest relates
primarily to the presence of the host. The cutlery and the meal and
the napkins are just the external representation of his largesse.
There are 2 primary
faculties of the mind – chochmah/wisdom and binah/understanding.
And these two
elements are inseparable.
Light is so
significant because we realize it is a reality.
So if the sunlight
takes on the color of the glass, it still remains sunlight. Its
function and essence remains the same.
There is such variety
and enormity in the world since this is from the King. And he stays
present and give credence to it and says, 'look, I am here with you'.
You are looking at
the King Himself, via his ohr/light.
We understand, 'there
is none, but the King'.
