Kesser/crown is en-clothed in chochmah/wisdom... but there are distinct categories of en-clothement...

Chochmah/wisdome comes from ein/nothing... Chochmah/wisdom draws from the element of ein/nothing in the crown, not from the presence of the crown.

Yesterday we looked at how sechel can influence middot/emotions. We saw that the emotions can tolerate the input from sechel/mind. But when we talk of the influence from kesser/crown into chochmah/wisdom, it is a different process. Kesser/crown is not worldly and does not have a worldly structure... kesser does not 'come into being' – kesser is from oneg and ratzon (will and pleasure).

This is like life itself. The kesser/crown is 'life/living'. Contrast this with emotions – they come and go. Sechel/mind likewise deals with different topics...

'Life' does not tolerate interuption. Life also comes from the nefesh/soul, so why can't it, like emotions 'start and stop'? The reason is that emotions and sechel have means by which it is revealed... Life of the soul, even though in the body is still a 'entirely a soul element'. The soul cannot be drawn down and undestood by the body. So if for a moment the body rejects the soul, it flies away... the body has to be null/butul to receive the soul. It does not know what it receives.

The fact that there are no definitions/boundaries to life, will and pleasure, means that they cannot be grasped... and chochmah/mind cannot grasp them... you cannot know how your life came into your body...

We don't accept life via any faculty or defined means, it just engulfs us.

So chochmah is coming from kesser/crown... and that does not detract from it being 'pure knowledge of objective truth'.

Knowing that 'there is a First Being' is not a prejudice... knowing there is a 'First Being' gives you the faculty of wisdom/chochmah. This is like saying sight gives you perception of color. Without sight colors still exist!
