We are elaborating on
the principle of 'fullness of service' (shlaymut ha-avodah). It
means completeness and perfection of the service. There is
cognizance only of the crown itself and not how it affects one. This
can be related to only in silence/shtikah. The soul wants the crown
in its purity, not in a translated form.
Tshuvah is the second
manner that allows for a 'download' of the crown, which come
automatically to a suitable place. It is an automatic reality. To
be recognized, the first way was silence, and the second was
tshuvah/return.
Real return (tshuvah)
is not a quest to satisfy a certain desire. It is the realization
that 'I cannot be away from this truth. I will no longer tolerate
being distant'.
The inner reality is
based on 'intent' rather than 'presence'. When he says, 'I do not
want to be distant' it is based on the truth of Godliness. This is
where tshuvah touches the same them as completeness of service
(shlaymut ha-avodah).
