One
difference between the inner an exterior levels is that in an
exterior setting things can be taken out of context and still
function.
At
the interior, it will go only where its entire truth will be
recognized. It has to be reflective of 'where this is coming from'.
In
the 'silence' an aspect of the interior of the crown (pnimiut
hakesser) is brought down (nimshach).
The
silence is part of chochmah/wisdom. That means it is not 'silence'
due to 'I don't know what to say'. Rather this silence is an
approach of 'I don't want to disturb this with my own thoughts'. And
this is called, completeness of service (shlaymut ha-avodah).
