The
ten sphirot surface after the infinite light is removed, but there
needs to be another contraction before the world can be built. This
is because the impression of infinity is still too strong [before the
second contraction] for there to be an involvement in 'world
building'.
For
there to be 'utility' the sense of 'ownership' needs to be somewhat
diminished. This is the second tzimtzum.
Without
this, there is 'too much light'.
