Page
59 [of the pamphlet] At middle of the page – line starts:
'habligvul'. (P45 in the book)
We
are talking of the trace of the infinity that remains. That means
the contraction is not complete, since abundant light [ribui ohr]
remains, and thus there is no place for world to exist.
When
you see a human home you are seeing the light. The human purpose of
it with an abundance of light... and when we see the table we see the
physical structure... as if it has no light.
Sphirot
are the light emanating from the essence.
The
second tzimtzum / contraction allows the sphirot to be translated
into a worldly setting.
In
conception all is 'one piece'. In actualization there are stages.
Osiot/letters
are the way things are seen in the world. They almost fully conceal
the light they contain.
Letters
are interchangeable. The same letter can serve in different words.
It
is spirit that holds up the world. It is not gravity that makes it
be. He speaks and the world is kept in existence. In chochmah you
see that this is a reality.
Letters
are devoid of spirit, but sphirot are full of spirit. It is a crime
to drain a person's view of the spirit of the world and force him to
see the structure.
Even
after the second tzimtzim it is possible and necessary to bring out
the light/spirit.
