Have this in mind:
we discussed the natural soul that has an explanation for everything
and has preferences based on its own experiences.
The Godly soul does
not have its own experiences. It is Godliness.
Within that truth of
only knowing Godliness it can then 'experience', and draw from
'sight' and 'hearing', but it sees and hears exclusively
elokus/Godliness.
The delight that it
has in the various 'senses', though they are subsets of the intial
reality, draw from the reality of the soul.
A Godly pleasure in
the words of Torah is not based on understanding and experience. It
is delight based solely on the fact that this is 'the words of God'.
Likewise there is an
element of delight/tynug in every aspect of the physical world,
including inanimate, organic and animal levels...
For example the
delight in the inanimate level – that is found in the various
precious metals and stones; and the delight in the plant life that we
identify in produce and fruit; and the delight in the entire animal
kingdom...
In all these levels
is the element of delight/tynug.
This is of great
significance. If we can identify this delight/oneg that is contained
in the physical then it is the complete opposite of the 'worldly'
view. The secular view is lifeless and strips the delight out of all
levels and proposes that everything is a reaction... Everything has
a Godly vitality and this gives it a real presence.
