By
means of chochmah/wisdom, the individual faculties are provided with
tynug/delight – their principle life force.
The
individual faculties – speech, movement etc, which may seem to be
the reaction to an external stimulus, actually have an inner reality
sourced in the nefesh/soul. Every faculty has a 'real presence' and
has an element of oneg/delight, which is nefesh/soul reality.
Chochmah
is able to receive essential revelations and are enclothed there as
they are in their essence.
Chochmah
has this ability based on its bitul/nullification. It allows it to
relate to the presence directly. If it had its own presence there
would have to be a transition. Chochmah is a vessel for the essence
itself.
This
is like the wise one says, 'I choose the king'. All the ministers
around the king have certain functions that you can relate to. The
king has no function. It is his presence that changes everything.
This
has been a long discussion about the download of delight/tynug into
the kochot/faculties, as a first step in explaining how Torah is the
intermediary between Godliness and the world.
To
continue: just as it is in the soul, so too in the divine delight
which is in the Godly soul. There is no element of experience. It
is a spiritual delight.
The
effect of a king on his nation does not contain any factual or
practical transformation. Each person delights in the knowledge that
he has a king. Nothing more. So you may say it is self infused
delight. But it is not just knowing and projecting. But it is
actually manifest in his bitul... he has the king in his home, even
when he is in his palace...
He
does not experience the king in his house, he just has that reality.
