Last night we looked at
how the kav/line affects unity of all the particulars. It does this
based on the infinity that is in the line.
The student asks a
question because it seems like there is a contradiction and the
mentor/master takes him to the level (or at least addresses him from
the level) where there is no contraction.
How does the mentor
create this unity. Think of the furniture in your house. There
needs to be sufficient space for each piece. Each one has a
function/place/aesthetic of its own. But the entire space is your
home. In the sense that it is your home, these 2 chairs are actually
standing on the same spot.
On the lower level the
room creates unity, but on a higher level it is the owner that
creates the unity.
A human being needs a
chair and a table. And for this 2 spaces are needed. But as a human
being you don't provide 2 spaces – it is one reality.
The mentor helps the
mentee, develop proper vessels, but he also shows how they are all
sourced in one unity.
This is an important
point – in raising a child he has to know it is not appearances
that are of concern, but rather how he is unto himself that is of
concern.
We are looking at how
ein sof/infinity includes all details/particulars...
